The Pain-Free Guide to Meal Prepping and Building Better Eating Habits
We’ve all been there. It’s lunchtime and you didn’t pack a meal and you’re starving. You remember that a quick fast food joint is right around the corner. Your tummy agrees that fast food is definitely the way to go. It’s so easy to make less than stellar choices when we’ve pushed ourselves to the hunger limit and have no nutritious foods and snacks within arm’s reach.
But here’s the thing, it’s actually quite easy to make better choices when you anticipate your hunger and cravings and have planned and packed accordingly with body-fueling food.
It’s not always easy to make good choices regarding health or nutrition. Your fitness goals can only take you so far unless you are fueling your body with the right foods. The KEY is to set your set up for success.

Ready to eat your way into shape?
Hi, I’m Bridget!
I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 10 years, and I have always had a pretty good metabolism (for the most part). As a teenager ripping and running, playing sports, I ate what I wanted and didn’t think twice about it. After getting married, LIFE HAPPENED… as it most often does. Even though I was in the fitness industry, I found that my relationship with food was based on my life choices, emotions, and feelings. Life hit, so did the pounds, the ailments, the joint pain, the high cholesterol, anxiety attacks, etc. I realized that things had to change drastically in order to fix my health from the inside out.
From gaining over 80 lbs. after life hit, I began to look at food and my life differently. I’m a foodie in my own right, but I had to find a balance that worked for me, my life, and my fitness goals.
Over time, I discovered that working in an office, or driving all the time were not helping my meal choices. I found myself constantly in the drive through line but also constantly feeling run down, tired and unhappy. As one with a busy schedule, it was only right that I had to buckle down and get organized with my meal planning. Many people ask, why do you meal prep?
There are so many reasons why but the main two are:
-
If I didn’t meal prep, I’d eat candy all day.
-
My health goals are extremely important to me.
